This Second Edition Development Guide is intended for use by all role players involved in property development in Ekurhuleni, including the public and private sector.
The Guide is based on the First Edition 2003 Guide. In addition to updated information, the Guide includes a number of new features as requested by you, the users of the Guide:
- Key statistics about EMM;
- The Ekurhuleni Growth and Development Strategy;
- Information on Regional and Local Spatial Development Frameworks;
- More information on Sectoral Strategies and Policies;
- A Section on legislation;
- A Summary the EMM Service Contribution Policy;
- Contact details in a more user friendly format; and
- More information on application processes.
The information in this Guide will change over time, thus relevant sections will be updated as required. Updates will be distributed via the Development Forum and via the offices of the City Development Department. In this regard, please note that each page is dated.
