The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality wishes to inform property owners in the region that its third supplementary property valuation roll will be published on Wednesday, February 17 and will be open for objections until March 31, 2010.

The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality wishes to inform property owners in the region that its third supplementary property valuation roll will be published on Wednesday, February 17 and will be open for objections until March 31, 2010.

This municipal supplementary roll will have at least 15 000 properties appearing on it, some of which are amendments from the valuation roll published in March last year. New properties which do not appear on the current municipal valuation have also been included also in this supplementary document.
 
Affected property owners will be mailed a section 49 notice informing them of the value, category, extent, owner, and description which have been assessed in respect of their properties.

Objections for this supplementary roll can be lodged at the Alberton, Benoni, Boksburg, Brakpan, Edenvale, Germiston, Kempton Park, Nigel and Springs customer care centres. Objection forms may also be downloaded from the municipality’s website www.ekurhuleni.com.

However, forms can only be physically handed in at the mentioned Customer Care Areas before 16:00 on March 31. No electronic submissions will be accepted. For enquiries residents should phone 011 999 3575 or 011 999 3561.


The information on this valuation roll will come into effect on April 1, 2010.
