DEPARTMENT : MUNICIPAL PUBLIC ACCOUNTS COMMITTEE
POSITION : ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
SALARY : R 210 936 – R 232 872 per annum

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Applicable NQF Level 6 qualification in Administration or equivalent
  • Extensive administrative experience
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to write reports
  • Computer literacy
  • Knowledge of political processes and mandates

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Liaison with clients and stakeholders and maintain protocol
  • Budget and financial administration for the section
  • Records keeping and archiving function of confidential documentation
  • Asset and stock control as well as office maintenance
  • Generic administrative duties
  • Secretarial duties to the strategic management team
  • Supervisory function including work skills plan and relevant HR policies and procedures
  • Report writing, distribution of agendas and minutes
