The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality wishes to inform the community of Selcourt North in Springs of a planned power supply outage on Tuesday, February 9 from 08:00 am to 16:00 in the afternoon.

The affected streets numbers are 1-33 Benquet Road; 1-21 Boulder Road; 18, 16, 14, 12, 10 and 8 Cam and Motor Road; 179, 177, 175, 173, 171, 169 and 167 Nigel Road South.

The power interruption is due to the metro’s commissioning of an additional LV installation in the area – a process which requires the municipality to switch off the power before switching it on again. In case of planned work not being carried out, the metro will as a standard procedure, re-schedule the work for the following week.

“The municipality would like to warn all the affected customers to regard all electrical networks, equipment as being electrically alive at all times during the commissioning process,” states metro’s spokesperson, Zweli Dlamini.

The municipality apologizes for the inconvenience to be caused.
