MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

• Degree in Tourism Development/Tourism Management/Tourism Strategic Management/Business Management
• Relevant experience

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, lead, co-ordinate, manage and monitor all tourism infrastructural development initiatives aligned to the EMM Service Delivery Budget implementation plan (SDBIP)
• Develop a tourism development strategy that is inclusive but not limited to tourism signage and route development
• Ensure the support and development of Tourism SMME s in EMM
• Manage the Workplace Skills Plan for the Directorate to ensure that all staff are capacitated to deliver on their mandate
• Compile and manage the Division’s annual capital and operational budget
• Represent the Director/Executive Director when required
