 In terms of section 14 of
the Local Government: Municipal Property Rates Act 6 of 2004 that the
Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, at a meeting held on 28 May
2009 passed a resolution in respect of the levying of rates on
property for the financial year 1 July 2009 to 30 June 2010;
and In terms of section 75A
of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act 32 of 2000 that the
Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, at a meeting held on 28 May
2009, resolved to amend the
following tariffs with effect from 1 July 2009, to provide
for increased costs:
